With more than 130 seasons of orchestral brilliance behind it, the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is among the world's most prominent musical organizations. It is also one of the most technologically complex. After using its website as a virtual ticket booth, BSO found its digital platform in need of a redesign to handle more intricate consumer interactions - from ticketing to subscriptions, renewals to donations. The new site, designed by RDI/A, streamlines the user experience including the first of its kind HTML5 seat selector. A comprehensive digital catalog contains educational games for kids and allows adults to listen to their favorite compositions via music downloads, subscriptions, and streaming. RDI/A built this next generation website with an infrastructure that seamlessly accommodates the needs of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops, Tanglewood, and Symphony Hall brands.
